It has been a very productive and eventful year for Raw. We can hardly believe its the anniversary of our Westfield Taekwondo centre opening! To celebrate, we hosted an open day on Saturday 29th August for families interested in Taekwondo. They had the opportunity to visit our premises and try out Taekwondo for the first time. This was also a nice way to celebrate our one year anniversary at Westfield. It was also a great day to share with our members and some birthday cake!

We were blown away with the support of our existing members, it was fantastic to see the children and parents join in the sessions and encourage our visitors to take part and enjoy themselves. It was brilliant to see everyone enjoying having fun and making friends. We look forward to welcoming back those who tried our sessions on Saturday and hope to have some new talent join the club very soon.

It certainly has been a fast year and we are delighted to see our club grow from strength to strength and have our centre used to its full potential to give our members the best Taekwondo experience we can in our purposely kitted out space.

We are already looking forward to next years open day! Here’s to another successful and positive year for team Raw!

More Taekwondo, more classes added at our Cumbernauld centre

Due to the unprecedented demand for more classes we are planning on expanding our timetable, first of all we are going to start our first Saturday class with the full time Taekwondo Centre in Cumbernauld. This means there will be a class on every single day of the week with Raw Taekwondo. We also plan to expand our Weightlifting progamme due to demand this will be more of a conditioning class with the Technical class on the Thursday.
